SMMA earns 2nd place National sparring finish in AAU

18 students traveled down to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to compete in the 2018 AAU Taekwondo National Championship.  Over 1700 athletes competed over the course of 5 days in the AAU's biggest Taekwondo event. Team SMMA did outstanding with most of our athletes medaling.  Collectively, our students had enough wins to earn the 2nd place sparring trophy, meaning that our school had the 2nd most wins out of all the other schools there. We thank our students, instructors, parents and parent coaches for their support and another great tournament year campaign.  Final results are as follows:
